Carrollton Warriors (Carrollton, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Salem Quakers (Salem, OH), 51-49 in a league bout.

With the win, Carrollton upgrades its record to 7-10 on the season. The Warriors host Linsly (Wheeling, WV) to play the Cadets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Cadets go into the bout with a record of 12-0. Linsly won 47-42 in their recent non-league bout against Archbishop Alter (Kettering, OH)

Next up, the Quakers play the Canfield Cardinals (Canfield, OH) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 27. Salem will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 10-4 record after their 54-37 league win over Howland (Warren, OH).
