The Carrollton Hawks (Carrollton, IL) basketball nipped the host Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia Trojans (Concord, IL), 47-43 in Friday's non-league test.

The Hawks (6-10) will now prepare for their test against Calhoun (Hardin, IL). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 15-8 record. In their last test, Calhoun got by Midwest Central (Manito, IL), 66-29, in a non-league test.
