The Centennial Eagles basketball team (Gresham, OR), was nudged 49-45 in Friday's league battle with the visiting La Salle Falcons (Milwaukie, OR)

The Falcons now possess a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hillsboro for a 5A Northwest Oregon battle on Monday, January 29. La Salle will confront a Spartans team coming off a 63-19 league loss to Parkrose (Portland, OR). The Spartans record now stands at 1-12.

The Eagles (9-7) will now prepare for their battle against Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts (Milwaukie, OR). The Mustangs come into the 5A Northwest Oregon battle with a 3-11 record. In their last battle, Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts was nudged by Canby (Canby, OR), 93-77, in a league battle.
