Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Pickerington Central Tigers (Pickerington, OH) and the visiting Central Crossing Comets (Grove City, OH), saw Pickerington Central's basketball squad wallop Central Crossing by a count of 64-34.

With the victory, Pickerington Central upgrades its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Groveport-Madison (Groveport, OH) to play the Cruisers in a Ohio Capital - Buckeye challenge on Friday, February 2. The Cruisers come into the challenge with a record of 6-10.

Next up, the Comets play the Mifflin Punchers (Columbus, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 27. Central Crossing will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record. The Punchers come into the challenge with a 5-10 record after their 74-49 league loss to Beechcroft (Columbus, OH).
