Central Gwinnett Black Knights (Lawrenceville, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Collins Hill Eagles (Suwanee, GA), 60-48 in a league bout.

With the win, Central Gwinnett upgrades its record to 10-11 on the season. The Black Knights travel to Buford (Buford, GA) to clash with the Wolves in a AAAAAAA Region 8 bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 19-3. Buford won 57-41 in their recent league bout against Mill Creek (Hoschton, GA)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Mountain View Bears (Lawrenceville, GA) in a AAAAAAA Region 8 bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Collins Hill will attempt to upgrade on its 14-8 season record. The Bears go into the bout with a 11-11 record after their 61-53 league loss to Dacula (Dacula, GA).
