The Checotah Wildcats basketball team (Checotah, OK), was nudged 50-47 in Friday's league battle with the host Spiro Bulldogs (Spiro, OK)
The Bulldogs now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Arkoma for a non-league battle on Monday, January 29.
The Wildcats (3-13) will now prepare for their battle against Sallisaw (Sallisaw, OK). The Black Diamonds come into the NOAA battle with a 7-10 record. In their last battle, Sallisaw edged Muldrow (Muldrow, OK), 58-57, in a league battle.
