Industrial Cobras (Vanderbilt, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Columbus Cardinals (Columbus, TX), 58-56 in a league bout.

With the victory, Industrial upgrades its record to 10-16 on the campaign. The Cobras travel to Edna (Edna, TX) to play the Cowboys in a 3A Region IV District 25 bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Cowboys come into the bout with a record of 9-8.

Next up, the Cardinals play the Hallettsville Brahmas (Hallettsville, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 25 bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Columbus will attempt to upgrade on its 15-10 season record.
