Community Christian Eagles (Connersville, IN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Tabernacle Christian Eagles (Martinsville, IN), 60-43 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Community Christian upgrades its record to 6-12 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Legacy Christian (Noblesville, IN) to play the Grizzlies in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Grizzlies come into the bout with a record of 6-10. Legacy Christian won 69-55 in their recent non-league bout against St. Sebastian's Soldiers HomeSchool (Marion, IN)

Next up, the Eagles play the Heartland Christian Saints (New Castle, IN) in a Central Indiana Christian bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Tabernacle Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record. The Saints come into the bout with a 15-6 record after their 83-32 non-league win over Fishers Christian Academy (Fishers, IN).
