Comstock Park Panthers (Comstock Park, MI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Kelloggsville Rockets (Wyoming, MI), 53-39 in a league bout.

With the victory, Comstock Park upgrades its record to 4-8 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Grand River Prep (Kentwood, MI) to play the in a non-league bout on Monday, January 29. The come into the bout with a record of 7-3. Grand River Prep won 60-43 in their recent league bout against Zion Christian (Byron Center, MI)

Next up, the Rockets play the Lakeview Spartans (Battle Creek, MI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Kelloggsville will attempt to upgrade on its 2-12 season record. The Spartans come into the bout with a 10-4 record after their 61-48 league win over Gull Lake (Richland, MI).
