Franklin Knights (Franklin, PA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Conneaut Area Eagles (Linesville, PA), 63-21 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Franklin upgrades its record to 12-4 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Oil City (Oil City, PA) to play the Oilers in a District 10 Region 6 bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Oilers come into the bout with a record of 13-3. Oil City won 44-42 in their recent league bout against Warren (Warren, PA)

Next up, the Eagles play the Titusville Rockets (Titusville, PA) in a District 10 Region 5 bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Conneaut Area will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record. The Rockets come into the bout with a 5-10 record after their 73-45 league loss to Corry (Corry, PA).
