Frisco Raccoons (Frisco, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Creekview Mustangs (Carrollton, TX), 75-55 in a league bout.

With the victory, Frisco upgrades its record to 13-12 on the campaign. The Raccoons host The Colony (The Colony, TX) to play the Cougars in a 5A Region II District 9 bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 23-4. The Colony won 70-61 in their recent league bout against Newman Smith (Carrollton, TX)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Wakeland Wolverines (Frisco, TX) in a 5A Region II District 9 bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Creekview will attempt to upgrade on its 11-15 season record. The Wolverines come into the bout with a 5-17 record after their 69-38 league win over Turner (Carrollton, TX).
