The Crockett County Cavaliers basketball team (Alamo, TN), was overwhelmed 72-50 in Friday's league battle with the host South Gibson Hornets (Medina, TN)
The Hornets now possess a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dyer County for a 3A District 13 battle on Tuesday, January 30. South Gibson will confront a Choctaws team coming off a 72-66 league loss to Dyersburg (Dyersburg, TN). The Choctaws record now stands at 18-2.
The Cavaliers (2-15) will now prepare for their battle against Dyersburg (Dyersburg, TN). The Trojans come into the 3A District 13 battle with a 14-6 record. In their last battle, Dyersburg trounced Dyer County (Newbern, TN), 72-66, in a league battle.
