Darlington Tigers (Rome, GA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Dade County Wolverines (Trenton, GA), 81-24 in a league bout.

With the victory, Darlington upgrades its record to 17-4 on the campaign. The Tigers host Calhoun (Calhoun, GA) to play the Yellow Jackets in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 27. The Yellow Jackets come into the bout with a record of 8-10. Calhoun won 56-46 in their recent league bout against Woodland (Cartersville, GA)

Next up, the Wolverines play the Armuchee Indians (Rome, GA) in a A D1 Region 7 bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Dade County will attempt to upgrade on its 8-12 season record. The Indians come into the bout with a 6-11 record after their 49-42 league loss to Trion (Trion, GA).
