Danbury Hatters (Danbury, CT) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Stamford Black Knights (Stamford, CT), 53-49 in a league bout.

With the win, Danbury upgrades its record to 8-4 on the season. The Hatters host Warde (Fairfield, CT) to play the Mustangs in a Fairfield County bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 7-4. Warde lost 72-65 in their recent league bout against Ridgefield (Ridgefield, CT)

Next up, the Black Knights play the New Canaan Rams (New Canaan, CT) in a Fairfield County bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Stamford will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record.
