Colorado High School Basketball - Gilpin County trounced by Dayspring Christian Academy

The Dayspring Christian Academy Eagles routed the host Gilpin County Eagles basketball team by a final score of 67-23 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Eagles face the Clear Creek Golddiggers (Evergreen, CO) in a 3A/2A/1A Mile High game, on Tuesday, January 30. Dayspring Christian Academy will attempt to move on its 4-9 season record. The Golddiggers enter the game with a 7-7 record after their 53-45 league loss to Dawson School (Lafayette, CO).

With the defeat, Gilpin County moves to 0-12 on the year. The Eagles travel to Denver Christian (Denver, CO) to face the Thunder in a 3A/2A/1A Mile High game on Tuesday, January 30. The Thunder enter the game with a record of 8-4. Denver Christian lost 47-37 in their recent league game against SkyView Academy (Highlands Ranch, CO)
