Colorado High School Basketball - De Beque thwarts North Park

The De Beque Dragons (De Beque, CO) basketball knocked off the host North Park Wildcats (Walden, CO), 52-44 in Friday's league test.

The Dragons (9-2) will now prepare for their test against Nucla (Nucla, CO). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 7-4 record. In their last test, Nucla went down by Telluride (Telluride, CO), 53-42, in a non-league test.

The Wildcats now own a 3-7 record. They play next when they host Caprock Academy for a 2A/1A Western Slope test on Saturday, January 27. North Park will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 65-48 league loss to De Beque (De Beque, CO). The Eagles record now stands at 4-9.
