De Pere Redbirds (De Pere, WI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Manitowoc Lincoln Ships (Manitowoc, WI), 65-26 in a league bout.

With the win, De Pere upgrades its record to 16-1 on the season. The Redbirds travel to Ashwaubenon (Green Bay, WI) to play the Jaguars in a Fox River Classic bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 14-2. Ashwaubenon won 83-55 in their recent league bout against Bay Port (Green Bay, WI)

Next up, the Ships play the Notre Dame Academy Tritons (Green Bay, WI) in a Fox River Classic bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Manitowoc Lincoln will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Tritons go into the bout with a 5-9 record after their 61-60 league win over Green Bay Preble (Green Bay, WI).
