The Dermott Rams basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the visiting Emerson Pirates to 40 in the Rams league victory on Friday.
The Rams now sport a 13-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hermitage for a 1A Region 8 contest on Monday, January 29. Dermott will battle a Hermits team coming off a 62-29 league loss to Strong (Strong, AR). The Hermits record now stands at 2-15.
The Pirates (11-9) will now prepare for their contest against Hampton (Hampton, AR). The Bulldogs come into the 1A Region 8 contest with a 8-7 record. In their last contest, Hampton triumphed over Bearden (Bearden, AR), 59-54, in a league contest.
