The Chaparrals now possess a 22-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Austin for a 6A Region IV District 26 battle on Tuesday, January 30. Westlake will confront a Maroons team coming off a 51-49 league loss to Akins (Austin, TX). The Maroons record now stands at 7-18.
The Tigers (15-14) will now prepare for their battle against Lake Travis (Austin, TX). The Cavaliers come into the 6A Region IV District 26 battle with a 25-4 record. In their last battle, Lake Travis trounced Anderson (Austin, TX), 62-42, in a league battle.
