Kentucky High School Basketball - West Carter can't hold off East Carter

The East Carter Raiders basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the host West Carter Comets to 48 in the Raiders league victory on Friday.
The Raiders now sport a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Elliott County for a District 62 contest on Monday, January 29. East Carter will battle a Lions team coming off a 49-41 league loss to West Carter (Olive Hill, KY). The Lions record now stands at 2-16.
The Comets (7-10) will now prepare for their contest against Boyd County (Ashland, KY). The Lions come into the non-league contest with a 18-5 record. In their last contest, Boyd County edged Greenup County (Greenup, KY), 86-51, in a non-league contest.
