Ohio High School Basketball - East Palestine thwarts Southern

January 26, 2024: Salineville, OH 43945

The East Palestine Bulldogs (East Palestine, OH) basketball knocked off the host Southern Indians (Salineville, OH), 77-57 in Friday's league test.

The Bulldogs (6-8) will now prepare for their test against Wellsville (Wellsville, OH). The Tigers go into the Eastern Ohio test with a 8-8 record. In their last test, Wellsville went down by Oak Glen (New Cumberland, WV), 64-41, in a non-league test.

The Indians now own a 1-16 record. They play next when they travel to David Anderson for a Eastern Ohio test on Tuesday, January 30. Southern will encounter a Blue Devils squad coming off a 62-18 league win over Leetonia (Leetonia, OH). The Blue Devils record now stands at 13-2.
