The McCallum Knights (Austin, TX) basketball felled the host Eastside Early College Panthers (Austin, TX), 58-38 in Friday's league test.

The Knights (21-8) will now prepare for their test against Travis (Austin, TX). The Rebels go into the 5A Region III District 24 test with a 5-16 record. In their last test, Travis was beaten by Crockett (Austin, TX), 60-26, in a league test.

The Panthers now own a 5-12 record. They play next when they travel to Northeast Early College for a 5A Region III District 24 test on Tuesday, January 30. Eastside Early College will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 71-37 league loss to Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin (Austin, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 4-20.
