The Ector Eagles basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Pioneer Tech & Arts Academy to 27 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 13-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fannindel for a 1A Region III District 23 contest on Tuesday, January 30. Ector will meet a Falcons team coming off a 63-49 league win over Campbell (Campbell, TX). The Falcons record now stands at 3-13.

The (0-15) will now prepare for their contest against Miller Grove (Cumby, TX). The Hornets enter the 1A Region III District 23 contest with a 7-23 record. In their last contest, Miller Grove was routed by Pioneer Technology & Arts Academy (Greenville, TX), 58-44, in a league contest.
