California High School Basketball - Elsinore can't hold off Rancho Verde

The Rancho Verde Mustangs basketball team scored 72 points and held the host Elsinore Tigers to 66 in the Mustangs league triumph on Friday.
The Mustangs now sport a 23-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rancho Christian for a Ivy contest on Monday, January 29. Rancho Verde will battle a Eagles team coming off a 59-50 league win over Poly (Riverside, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 16-8.
The Tigers (17-9) will now prepare for their contest against JW North (Riverside, CA). The Huskies enter the Ivy contest with a 8-17 record. In their last contest, JW North was nudged by Francis Parker (San Diego, CA), 70-46, in a non-league contest.
