In Friday's non-league outing, the Wilson Bulldogs (West Lawn, PA) basketball squad nipped the host Exeter Township Eagles (Reading, PA), by a margin of 64-63.

The Bulldogs (14-7) will now prepare for their outing against Muhlenberg (Laureldale, PA). The Muhls go into the Berks County 1 bout with a 9-8 record. In their last bout, Muhlenberg was edged by Governor Mifflin (Shillington, PA), 64-59, in a league bout.

Next up, the Eagles play the Conrad Weiser Scouts (Robesonia, PA) in a Berks County 2 bout, on Saturday, January 27. Exeter Township will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record. The Scouts go into the bout with a 6-10 record after their 56-52 non-league win over Daniel Boone (Birdsboro, PA).
