In Friday's non-league outing, the Exira-EHK Spartans (Elk Horn, IA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting West Harrison Hawkeyes (Mondamin, IA), by a margin of 72-44.

The Spartans (13-4) will now prepare for their outing against Woodbine (Woodbine, IA). The Tigers go into the non-league outing with a 16-1 record. In their last outing, Woodbine smashed Ar-We-Va (Westside, IA), 52-43, in a league outing.

The Hawkeyes now own a 5-11 record. They play next when they travel to CAM for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 27. West Harrison will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 65-44 league win over Paton-Churdan (Churdan, IA). The Cougars record now stands at 8-7.
