The Fargo Davies Eagles basketball team scored 85 points and restricted the visiting Red River Roughriders to 66 in the Eagles league victory on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shanley for a AA East contest on Tuesday, January 30. Fargo Davies will battle a Deacons team coming off a 90-71 league loss to Fargo North (Fargo, ND). The Deacons record now stands at 1-13.

The Roughriders (5-10) will now prepare for their contest against Grand Forks Central (Grand Forks, ND). The Knights come into the AA East contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, Grand Forks Central dropped by Devils Lake (Devils Lake, ND), 89-82, in a non-league contest.
