Farmington Cardinals (Farmington, AR) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Pea Ridge Blackhawks (Pea Ridge, AR), 78-39 in a league bout.

With the victory, Farmington upgrades its record to 24-2 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Huntsville (Huntsville, AR) to play the Eagles in a 4A Region 1 bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 15-10. Huntsville won 57-41 in their recent league bout against Berryville (Berryville, AR)

Next up, the Blackhawks play the Gravette Lions (Gravette, AR) in a 4A Region 1 bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Pea Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 20-4 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 11-7 record after their 55-34 league loss to Gentry (Gentry, AR).
