Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Father Capodanno Grunts (Vass, NC) and the host Star Christian Academy Golden Tigers (Smithfield, NC), saw Father Capodanno's basketball squad overcome Star Christian Academy by a tally of 67-47.

With the victory, Father Capodanno improves its record to 3-14 on the campaign. The Grunts travel to Lee Christian (Sanford, NC) to confront the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 10-9.

Next up, the Golden Tigers confront the Spirit of Life Christian Academy Eagles (Clinton, NC) in a Freelance challenge, on Friday, February 2. Star Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record.
