The Foothill Knights (Santa Ana, CA) basketball nipped the visiting Villa Park Spartans (Villa Park, CA), 70-67 in Friday's league test.

The Knights (18-7) will now prepare for their test against Harvard-Westlake (Studio City, CA). The Wolverines go into the non-league test with a 22-3 record. In their last test, Harvard-Westlake got by St. Francis (La Canada, CA), 64-33, in a league test.

The Spartans now own a 12-14 record. They play next when they host Brea Olinda for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 30. Villa Park will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 51-46 league win over Esperanza (Anaheim, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-14.
