New West Charter Eagles (Los Angeles, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Foshay Wolverines (Los Angeles, CA), 74-59 in a league bout.

With the victory, New West Charter upgrades its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Middle College (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Cougars in a Crosstown bout on Wednesday, January 31. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 5-8. Middle College won 80-30 in their recent league bout against Stella High Charter Academy (Los Angeles, CA)

Next up, the Wolverines play the Larchmont Charter Timberwolves (West Hollywood, CA) in a Crosstown bout, on Monday, January 29. Foshay will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record. The Timberwolves come into the bout with a 11-4 record after their 2-0 non-league win over SEED: LA (Los Angeles, CA).
