The Menominee Maroons (Menominee, MI) basketball knocked off the visiting Gladstone Braves (Gladstone, MI), 59-51 in Friday's league test.

The Maroons (10-3) will now prepare for their test against Escanaba (Escanaba, MI). The Eskymos go into the Great Northern U.P. test with a 7-6 record. In their last test, Escanaba went down by Sault Area (Sault St. Marie, MI), 47-44, in a non-league test.

The Braves now own a 6-8 record. They play next when they host Munising for a non-league test on Friday, February 2.
