Glenbard West Hilltoppers (Glen Ellyn, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Proviso West Panthers (Hillside, IL), 61-33 in a league bout.

With the win, Glenbard West upgrades its record to 12-11 on the season. The Hilltoppers host York (Elmhurst, IL) to clash with the Dukes in a West Suburban - Silver bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Dukes go into the bout with a record of 20-4. York won 64-62 in their recent non-league bout against Lake Zurich (Lake Zurich, IL)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Proviso East Pirates (Maywood, IL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 29. Proviso West will attempt to upgrade on its 8-12 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 12-9 record after their 66-56 league win over Willowbrook (Villa Park, IL).
