New Trier Trevians (Winnetka, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Glenbrook South Titans (Glenview, IL), 62-48 in a league bout.

With the win, New Trier upgrades its record to 21-4 on the season. The Trevians host West Aurora (Aurora, IL) to play the Blackhawks in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 27. The Blackhawks go into the bout with a record of 14-8. West Aurora lost 57-50 in their recent league bout against Yorkville (Yorkville, IL)

Next up, the Titans play the Saint Ignatius College Prep Wolfpack (Chicago, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 27. Glenbrook South will attempt to upgrade on its 17-5 season record. The Wolfpack go into the bout with a 13-9 record after their 62-58 league loss to De La Salle (Chicago, IL).
