Nebraska High School Basketball - Morrill routs Gordon-Rushville

In Friday's league outing, the Morrill Lions (Morrill, NE) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Gordon-Rushville Mustangs (Gordon, NE), by a margin of 50-18.

The Lions (11-7) will now prepare for their outing against Sioux County (Harrison, NE). The Warriors go into the non-league outing with a 3-12 record. In their last outing, Sioux County was trounced by Hay Springs (Hay Springs, NE), 63-45, in a league outing.

The Mustangs now own a 0-14 record. They play next when they travel to Mitchell for a non-league outing on Thursday, February 1. Gordon-Rushville will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 60-51 non-league win over Alliance (Alliance, NE). The Tigers record now stands at 11-7.
