The Greater Lawrence Tech Reggies (Andover, MA) basketball nipped the visiting Greater Lowell Tech Gryphons (Tyngsborough, MA), 65-63 in Friday's league test.

The Reggies (6-3) will now prepare for their test against Masconomet Regional (Boxford, MA). The Chieftains go into the non-league test with a 6-5 record. In their last test, Masconomet Regional was tipped by Marblehead (Marblehead, MA), 71-55, in a league test.

The Gryphons now own a 2-9 record. They play next when they host Revere for a non-league test on Monday, January 29. Greater Lowell Tech will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 60-47 league win over Malden (Malden, MA). The Patriots record now stands at 4-9.
