Greater Nanticoke Area Trojans (Nanticoke, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Hanover Area Hawkeyes (Hanover Township, PA), 43-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Greater Nanticoke Area upgrades its record to 8-9 on the season. The Trojans host Lake-Lehman (Lehman, PA) to clash with the Knights in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 0-11. Lake-Lehman lost 70-42 in their recent league bout against Wyoming Area (Exeter, PA)

Next up, the Hawkeyes clash with the Lakeland Chiefs (Jermyn, PA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Hanover Area will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Chiefs go into the bout with a 6-10 record after their 69-60 league loss to Dunmore (Dunmore, PA).
