The Madison Plains Golden Eagles basketball team (London, OH), was routed 56-35 in Friday's league battle with the host Greenon Knights (Springfield, OH)

The Knights now sport a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cedarville for a Ohio Heritage battle on Tuesday, January 30. Greenon will battle a Indians team coming off a 55-52 league loss to Greeneview (Jamestown, OH). The Indians record now stands at 13-4.

The Golden Eagles (6-11) will now prepare for their battle against Catholic Central (Springfield, OH). The Irish come into the Ohio Heritage battle with a 4-11 record. In their last battle, Catholic Central was routed by Emmanuel Christian Academy (Springfield, OH), 65-40, in a non-league battle.
