Slippery Rock Rockets (Slippery Rock, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Greenville Trojans (Greenville, PA), 62-56 in a league bout.

With the win, Slippery Rock upgrades its record to 11-5 on the season. The Rockets host Grove City (Grove City, PA) to play the Eagles in a District 10 Region 4 bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 9-7. Grove City won 65-22 in their recent league bout against Wilmington (New Wilmington, PA)

Next up, the Trojans play the Wilmington Greyhounds (New Wilmington, PA) in a District 10 Region 4 bout, on Friday, February 2. Greenville will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record.
