In Friday's league outing, the Greenwood Rangers (Midland, TX) basketball squad nipped the host Monahans Loboes (Monahans, TX), by a margin of 81-80.

The Rangers (17-11) will now prepare for their outing against Andrews (Andrews, TX). The Mustangs go into the 4A Region I District 3 outing with a 10-17 record. In their last outing, Andrews was tipped by Seminole (Seminole, TX), 55-31, in a league outing.
