The Kettle Run Cougars (Nokesville, VA) basketball knocked off the visiting Handley Judges (Winchester, VA), 64-55 in Friday's league test.

The Cougars (8-8) will now prepare for their test against Skyline (Front Royal, VA). The Hawks go into the Northwestern test with a 13-5 record. In their last test, Skyline notched a victory over Brentsville District (Nokesville, VA), 77-57, in a league test.

The Judges now sport a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brentsville District for a Northwestern contest on Monday, January 29. Handley will meet a Tigers team coming off a 77-57 league loss to Skyline (Front Royal, VA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-13.
