Missouri High School Basketball - Kirksville holds off Hannibal

Spectators at Friday's league test between the Kirksville Tigers (Kirksville, MO) and the visiting Hannibal Pirates (Hannibal, MO), witnessed Kirksville's basketball squad nip Hannibal by a margin of 49-47.
The Tigers (8-4) will now prepare for their test against Southern Boone (Ashland, MO). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 14-2 record. In their last test, Southern Boone got by Moberly (Moberly, MO), 78-60, in a non-league test.
The Pirates now own a 6-10 record. They play next when they travel to Moberly for a North Central Missouri test on Tuesday, January 30. Hannibal will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 78-60 non-league loss to Southern Boone (Ashland, MO). The Spartans record now stands at 8-10.
