Harlan County Black Bears (Harlan, KY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Middlesboro Yellowjackets (Middlesboro, KY), 91-47 in a league bout.

With the win, Harlan County upgrades its record to 22-3 on the season. The Black Bears travel to Pikeville (Pikeville, KY) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 11-4. Pikeville lost 52-37 in their recent non-league bout against Evangel Christian (Louisville, KY)

Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Campbell County Cougars (Jacksboro, TN) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 29. Middlesboro will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 7-12 record after their 71-44 league loss to Oak Ridge (Oak Ridge, TN).
