Harleton Wildcats (Harleton, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Linden-Kildare Tigers (Linden, TX), 62-12 in a league bout.

With the win, Harleton upgrades its record to 7-16 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Hawkins (Hawkins, TX) to play the Hawks in a 2A Region III District 21 bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 25-1. Hawkins won 42-36 in their recent league bout against McLeod (McLeod, TX)

Next up, the Tigers play the Hawkins Hawks (Hawkins, TX) in a 2A Region III District 21 bout, on Friday, February 2. Linden-Kildare will attempt to upgrade on its 0-13 season record.
