The Harper Creek Beavers basketball team (Battle Creek, MI), was nudged 64-57 in Friday's league battle with the host Marshall Redhawks (Marshall, MI)
The Redhawks now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Coldwater for a Interstate Eight battle on Friday, February 2.
The Beavers (3-11) will now prepare for their battle against Sturgis (Sturgis, MI). The Trojans come into the non-league battle with a 2-10 record. In their last battle, Sturgis edged Paw Paw (Paw Paw, MI), 48-42, in a league battle.
