Alabama High School Basketball - Helena nips Pelham

January 26, 2024: Pelham, AL 35124

Helena Huskies (Helena, AL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Pelham Panthers (Pelham, AL), 44-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Helena upgrades its record to 20-5 on the season. The Huskies host Thompson (Alabaster, AL) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Monday, January 29. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 17-8. Thompson lost 56-52 in their recent league bout against Vestavia Hills (Vestavia Hills, AL)

Next up, the Panthers play the Mortimer Jordan Blue Devils (Kimberly, AL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 29. Pelham will attempt to upgrade on its 21-7 season record. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a 15-10 record after their 45-44 league loss to Clay-Chalkville (Pinson, AL).
