North Carolina High School Basketball - Hertford County topples Holmes

In Friday's league outing, the Hertford County Bears (Ahoskie, NC) basketball squad beat the visiting Holmes Aces (Edenton, NC), by a count of 76-67.

The Bears (12-4) will now prepare for their outing against Northampton County (Gaston, NC). The Jaguars go into the non-league outing with a 10-4 record. In their last outing, Northampton County defeated Northwest Halifax (Littleton, NC), 70-53, in a league outing.

The Aces now hold a 8-8 record. They play next when they host Northeastern for a 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal outing on Tuesday, January 30.
