The Salem Spartans (Salem, VA) basketball knocked off the visiting Hidden Valley Titans (Roanoke, VA), 67-47 in Friday's league test.

The Spartans (9-9) will now prepare for their test against Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 2-17 record. In their last test, Rockbridge County went down by Eastern Mennonite (Harrisonburg, VA), 69-56, in a non-league test.

The Titans now own a 7-10 record. They play next when they host Patrick Henry for a River Ridge test on Tuesday, January 30. Hidden Valley will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 70-35 league win over Pulaski County (Dublin, VA). The Patriots record now stands at 12-4.
