Hoboken Redwings (Hoboken, NJ) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host University Academy Charter Generals (Jersey City, NJ), 70-30 in a league bout.

With the victory, Hoboken upgrades its record to 13-4 on the campaign. The Redwings travel to Beloved Community Charter (Jersey City, NJ) to play the Owls in a Hudson County - National bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Owls come into the bout with a record of 4-12. Beloved Community Charter lost 58-39 in their recent league bout against McNair Academic (Jersey City, NJ)

Next up, the Generals play the Ferris Bulldogs (Jersey City, NJ) in a Hudson County - National bout, on Saturday, January 27. University Academy Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 0-13 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 7-7 record after their 32-29 league loss to Kearny (Kearny, NJ).
