The Hokes Bluff Eagles basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the host Ohatchee Indians to 45 in the Eagles league victory on Friday.
The Eagles now sport a 13-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gaston for a non-league contest on Friday, January 26. Hokes Bluff will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 49-26 non-league win over West End (Walnut Grove, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 18-8.
The Indians (6-15) will now prepare for their contest against Alexandria (Alexandria, AL). The Valley Cubs come into the non-league contest with a 20-6 record. In their last contest, Alexandria triumphed over Talladega (Talladega, AL), 96-59, in a non-league contest.
